Construction and Restoration Details

This Seaway 19 has had extensive structural work completed:

• Composite deck, stringers, and Coosa transom
• All solid construction
• Prior to console and fuel tank installation, the deck was stripped and reinforced with 1708 fiberglass and vinyl ester resin
• Deck tabs were doubled and extended 8 inches up toward the gunwale
• All previous deck holes were properly filled
• New console was secured using Acralock SA10, with no holes drilled into the deck
• Stryker swing-back leaning post welded to 1/4-inch aluminum plate and also secured using Acralock SA10
• Even the 316 stainless scupper flaps were secured with adhesive

This boat was rebuilt with attention to detail and with long-term durability in mind.

Engine Service and Maintenance

The Honda BF60 has been properly maintained from day one:

• 20-hour break-in service completed
• Motor oil/filter and lower unit oil changed every 50 hours
• New spark plugs at 197 hours
• Valve check completed at 197 hours - all in spec

  Trailer was rebuilt in 2025 and updated again in June 2026:
